COVID-19 School Closure 23rd March 2020

A letter shared with parents/ carers:

Dear Parents/Carers

The government updated advice yesterday relating to pupils with EHCPs and attendance at school. It has been advised that the best place for children to be is at home.

Therefore, I have followed guidance to minimise the impact of spreading the virus and have closed the school, for the present, awaiting further L.A. advice.

It is an unprecedented situation and I realise these circumstances will provide difficulties in the coming days and weeks. Teachers will be in contact in due course offering activities and learning opportunities to engage pupils.

I wish you all the very best in these difficult days. You can contact the school via email at and access the school website, which will be our main communication tool for teachers and parents. Please go to the parent link on the website and look for your own child’s class pages. Activities will be available from Monday 30th March 2020.

Yours sincerely,

Hilary Davies

Head teacher
